    Description

Knocked down in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.
It was on the east side of Pacific Ave at the Cathcart intersection facing north.
Across the street was Johnnys Bike Shop.
The sign was in a wooden frame which was destroyed when it was knocked of the sign post.
I was there for this quake as I had been thruout my life with other quakes in the area.
The Sign has scratches and scuffs, but no bends, or breaks.
Made of Sign Stock Aluminum typical for that time.
There are bubbly type stains on the paint, unknown of what it laid in after the quake until I picked it up.
Approx 29 1/2" tall at the center and 23 1/2" wide.
Weighs 6 lbs 10 oz in cardboard shipping box.
The gold color is slightly faded, unknown of time it hung on the post.
See pics for your judgement of condition.
I grew up from the 60s on in this then sleepy lil coastal town, was sad to see this beautiful Mall destroyed.
