Boyd First Mark WILLOW BLUE Chicken/Hen-on-Nest Open Salt Dip, Cellar, Dish!

Description

This salt dip stands 1 7/8" tall and measures 2 1/2" in length. Made of glossy, pale blue glass, it is shaped like a hen sitting on a nest, and is marked with a, "B," inside a diamond. This color was manufactured by Boyd Glass for just one day (July 28, 1980), and the color is called, "Willow Blue." This is one of Boyd's earliest chickens and is quite collectible. This piece is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or flakes.
