It is powered by its 2.0-liter 4 cylinder engine producing 240hp at 8300 rpms, 6 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. Highlights included: bucket seats, console, aluminum wheels, wind deflector, 4 wheel dis brakes, convertible top boot, spacious trunk, and a 9000-rpm red line.
This was purchased new in Connecticut and used primarily as a summer car at a second residence and kept inside when not in use. As a result of light use and proper care and maintenance, This S2000 remains in excellent condition in all areas. Cosmetically, the original exterior paint remains deep and glossy and apart from a few expected minor chips, is excellent. The interior is excellent showing just a little expected minor wear on the driver seat bolster. The engine and engine bay remains very clean and tidy.
Mechanically, this S2000 is spot on. It pulls strong in all gears; the suspension and steering are tight and responsive; the car brakes quick and true. Recent dealer service includes brake pads and rotors, serpentine belt, FTP sensor, evap emission 2-way valve and solenoid, etc., totaling just over 00.00 dollars.
