    Description

Mercedes-Benz 500-Series. 560 SEC Coupe. This is a very nice car that can be driven daily or on occasion, which is how I have used it. Originally from Palm Beach FL, I am the third owner. The car drives flawlessly at 30 mph or 130 mph. This car was dry stored when I purchased and rarely driven. After I purchased in 2020, I performed a ,000 + mechanical service by the best Mercedes Tech in Florida - who described this car as "excellent and well cared for." Service included timing chain guides, air suspension, all fluids, new fuel injectors & distributor , MB exhaust system, valve cover and pan gaskets, all fluids, new belts, hoses, plugs, wires, wheel bearings, seals, calipers, hood pad, etc, etc and 4 new tires. No aftermarket parts - This car drives like its new. The only remaining issues for new owner are radio (not working but have code) cruise control, and 2 dash switch lights are out. There is a very small amount of rust (see picture) below rear window trim where gutter is located. This can easily be treated and touched up if you take it to right person. Sale includes new 0 indoor car cover. Best color SEC, rare to find in this condition. The only reason I am selling is that I found a 560SL I want to purchase. ,000 NR deposit due upon close of auction, balance in 5 days.
A note from the MB TECH that worked on this car. "This car, as with most 126s, is worth getting excited about. This car now starts quickly, idles smoothly, cruises easily at any speed, stops on a dime and keeps its occupants cool with its fully operational climate control. While it can be difficult to bring back a car like this from the dead, this example was complicit and somewhat straightforward to service, minus the difficult exhaust repairs. Each repair we did is documented below. And if there is a problem or a question, call before you panic. We do our best to stand behind our work.Enjoy your 560SEC- this was the best S-class coupe Mercedes ever built."
